IMS combines rapid response with long-term efforts to create a foundation of trust and collaboration on the ground. We work together with our partners to find local solutions to global problems – and global solutions to local problems.

With partners in more than 30 countries, IMS works where independent media is at the greatest risk: in countries experiencing armed conflict, humanitarian crises, rapid political change or authoritarian rule​.
