What does freedom of expression mean to you?

In the run-up to World Press Freedom Day on 3 May, we want to know what freedom of expression means to you.

As a media development organisation working in countries around the world where media and freedom of expression often exist under difficult circumstances, we aim to showcase the many faces of and opinions on freedom of expression around the world.

For International Media Support, freedom of expression is a fundamental right crucial to realising other rights, including press freedom.

A special selection of contributions will be showcased on our website and on social media in the run-up to World Press Freedom Day on 3 May, an opportunity to remind people of the importance of safeguarding freedom of expression and press freedom principles.
