Open call for Media organisations in Yemen
IMS is pleased to announce an open call for project proposals supporting media development in Yemen. This allows Yemeni media organisations to submit their project ideas for potential funding and collaboration.
Yemen’s media landscape has been highly polarised by years of war with many media outlets siding with parties to the conflict at the expense of providing factual and unbiased content. In addition, Yemeni journalists have to contend with numerous challenges including threats to their physical safety, mental stress, and the struggle to develop their skills and capacity under such circumstances. A growing number of media are striving to use various means to provide independent public interest content to wide audiences including local communities in Yemen, diaspora, and regional and international audiences.
IMS is dedicated to supporting innovative and impactful projects that advance inclusive media and good journalism.
